Lead climbing course

Climbing course for advanced climbers

After you have trained as a climber in the ascent and have mastered your level of difficulty (usually UIAA 4 or 5), the next step is climbing in the lead. The rope no longer comes from above, but has to be hooked into the existing bolt from the climbing position using quickdraws. In order to keep the risk of injury low, it is necessary to secure dynamically and to fall correctly, which is why these techniques are central topics in this course.

Of course, in the advanced climbing course, the correct attachment of the intermediate securing and the threading on the top is demonstrated and practiced.
